Around the Area.
Euroa is approx. 150kms north of Melbourne on the Hume Freeway. It sits at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges. There are many scenic drives around and through the ranges with panoramic views from lookouts such as Mt Wombat. There are several excellant wineries close at hand, Maygar's Hill, Garner's Heritage and Fowles are three that spring to mind. Slightly further afield, but still within easy reach are the Nagambie and King Valley wine regions where labels such as Tahbilk, Mitchelton, Sam Miranda, Dal Zotto and Brown Bros can be found, not to forget one of our own personal favourites Wood Park at Milewa. On the second Saturday of each month, Violet Town, just a few kms up the Hume holds it's famous farmer's markets where produce and crafts from around the region can be inspected and purchased. Each October Euroa comes alive with it's own Wool Week and the National Show and Shine which can be expected to attract thousands of motoring enthusiasts to view around 1500 vehicles of all makes models and vintages.
The White House Euroa is located at 94 Binney St in the centre of town. Within 300m are the all town's business and shopping, 2 pubs, restaurants and cafes. The Euroa Butter Factory is an easy 10min walk or 2min drive away.
